Decide on the height

Whilst most people tend to choose to clad an entire wall or ceiling with wooden panels, this doesn’t have to be the case. Paneling to dado height may sound ‘old hat’ but it may actually suit your room style more.

Measuring up

For our acoustic wall panels, once you know the area that you intend to clad, you will need to measure the height and width. Unlike other wall paneling that requires the overall area to be calculated, each panel is supplied in a fixed size of 2400 x 600mm, and is designed to be fitted vertically from floor to ceiling.

Preparing the walls

Wall cladding will disguise even the most uneven surfaces. Hairline cracks do not need any preparation or necessary filling. However, any loose plaster should always be removed, then filled with a suitable filler. Once dry, as long as the surface is fairly uniform, there’s no need to sand it back to a smooth plaster finish!
